Naw Ochid Tun is a ex-Singapore helper from Myanmar who has four years of experience working in Singapore for two different employers. She worked for the first employer, a family of three, for 1.6 years and was responsible for cooking, washing, cleaning, and other household tasks. She returned to Myanmar when the family no longer needed a helper. For her second employer, a family of four with an elderly grandmother, Naw Ochid Tun provided care for the grandmother, including assisting with bathing, toileting, and accompanying her on outings in a wheelchair. She is now looking to return to Singapore and hopes to work for many more years as a helper.
